  • Cinderella coming to Sedgeberrow

    Gary Smee

    10 January 2008

PANTOMIME season may be drawing to a close but fans of the festive tradition can still enjoy a special performance of a classic tale in Sedgeberrow.
The Sedgeberrow and Overbury Drama Group will be performing Cinderella on Friday January 25 and Saturday January 26 at the village hall.
The show almost did not go ahead after one set of scripts on a computer were destroyed in last summer's devastating floods. But after months of hard work the ugly sisters are now raring to go.
Richard Hunt, chairman of the group, said: "Expect plenty of laughs. It's going to be a great occasion to get the village together after such a difficult year.
"Three members of the group were flooded out during the summer, but they've continued rehearsing despite everything else they've had to do."
The pantomime starts at 8pm, tickets are £6 but are now only available for Friday's (January 25) performance. Call 01386 881876 for more details and to book.
