    RESIDENTS are being urged to be prepared as several rivers in the area have been put on flood alert.     CALLOUS thieves have left a town centre charity shop with a gaping hole in its wall after stealing a brass letterbox. Shocked staff at the Oxfam Bookshop turned up at the High Street shop on Tuesday morning (August 26) to find thieves had taken the box overnight.
